Dr. Soner Çelik is an instructor and consultant who combines field and academic experience in cyber security and cyber threat intelligence. After serving in various ranks of the Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri (Turkish Armed Forces) between 2008 and 2016, he worked in project management and cyber security at Türk Telekom and STM A.Ş. From 2020 to 2022 he served as project manager of the MSB Information Systems Modernisation Project carried out under the Savunma Sanayii Başkanlığı (Presidency of Defence Industries). He provides consultancy and training to public and private organisations on the selection, implementation and management of security technologies against cyber attack processes, as well as IT audit, ISMS accreditation, penetration testing and system architecture. In addition to his PMP, CISA, OSCP, CDPSE and CEH certifications, he holds a TSE-approved penetration testing specialist certificate. He has published academic work on cyber security, cyber intelligence, current issues in Turkish foreign policy and international security.
